At Jewish House, we’ve always believed that everyone deserves to feel safe and supported. Every day, we provide shelter, mental health support, and essential care to individuals and families facing homelessness, domestic violence and financial hardship, so they have a chance to rebuild their lives.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Ray White Double Bay, a collaboration that will help us reach even more people in need. With their support, we can expand our services, raise awareness and continue to provide life-changing assistance to those doing it tough.
More Than Just a Home: A Shared Commitment to Community
For over 30 years, Ray White Double Bay has been a trusted name in real estate, helping people find their dream homes. But their commitment to community goes beyond property. They understand that a home is more than just four walls. It’s security, stability, and a foundation for a better future.
Through this partnership, Ray White Double Bay will be fundraising, launching awareness campaigns, and volunteering their time to support our work. Principal and Managing Director Elliott Placks put it best when he said:
"At Ray White Double Bay, we don’t just work with homes; we work with people and families. We believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home, and partnering with Jewish House allows us to support those facing homelessness in a meaningful way. Jewish House is doing incredible work, and we’re proud to stand beside them in supporting our community."
Providing Shelter and Stability to Those Who Need It Most
Our very own Rabbi Mendel, CEO of Jewish House, shared his excitement about what this partnership will achieve:
"We are incredibly excited to join forces with Ray White Double Bay on this initiative. With their support, we can extend our reach and provide more people with the help they need. Together, we hope to achieve great things for our community and make a real impact in the fight against homelessness."
Thanks to our community’s ongoing support, and the recent opening of the Jewish House Centre for Women and Children, we now have around 160 rooms across NSW, offering people a safe place to stay while they get back on their feet.
With Ray White Double Bay by our side, we can extend our support even further, helping more people in crisis, regardless of their background, religion, or circumstances, by providing essential services such as:
- Crisis intervention and wraparound support, including food, clothing, and legal assistance for those facing homelessness or escaping domestic violence.
- Mental health services, including counselling, trauma support, and wellbeing programs to help people heal and regain confidence.
- Short-term and transitional accommodation, giving people a safe and supportive environment as they work toward permanent housing.
- Employment and housing pathways, connecting individuals with job opportunities and long-term housing solutions to help them regain independence.
- Community outreach and advocacy, working with local organisations and policymakers to drive meaningful change in tackling homelessness.
Want to Support Our Ongoing Mission to Help Those in Need?
This partnership with Ray White Double Bay is an exciting step forward, but there is still so much more to be done. Every day, people in our community face homelessness, crisis and uncertainty. With the right support, they can rebuild their lives and your generosity can make a real difference.
